As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to escalate we have taken the decision to move to a system where anyone contacting the surgery requesting an appointment will first speak with one of our Clinicians on the telephone. If your problem can be solved on the phone then we will do so.
DO NOT turn up or QUEUE UP FROM 08:00, as you will be asked to leave and telephone. Appointments WILL NOT be given out at the reception desk. The doors WILL NOT open at 08:00 as they usually would.
We are now ONLY dealing with urgent problems with the overall aim to reduce face to face contact to the essential minimum. This is to protect you, the public and the staff.
Your care will be reviewed by a clinician and dealt with appropriately. This is likely to continue for at least the next two weeks until such times we are notified we can return to normal working arrangements.
If you already have a routine appointment booked please phone the surgery as soon as possible to discuss your appointment.
Please post requests for prescriptions through the outside letterbox. If you could indicate on the request where you would like your prescription to be sent, or alternatively enclose a stamped addressed envelope we can send it out to you.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this will cause you and we all hope it will be a temporary measure. In the meantime we have to follow guidance and protect the public and staff during this difficult time.
Your understanding is appreciated. We’re all in this together.
IF YOU HAVE A TEMPERATURE, COUGH OR FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY. This is regardless of whether you have been abroad or been in contact with someone with coronavirus.
