All test results are viewed by a clinician prior to results being given to the patient. If the result is “normal” no further action is required. If the result indicates further action, the Practice will contact the patient.

If the action required is not urgent, a letter will be sent to the patient, either to repeat the test or requesting the patient to make a routine appointment.
